Sylvanian Party 2010!

It was a 2-hour fun-filled experience with lots of freebies and new Sylvanian items! I had a great time 'cause I was able to take-home a lot of prizes from games like 'Bring Me' and 'Guess Who's That Sylvanian Family?'.  They also have puzzle game in which I didn't got much luck, sob! Hay, I can't contain myself... can't even decide how to write this post. Anyways... I'll just let my picture do the blogging this time.

 

Party Kiddos hands up for SF prizes!

Some got frustrated on the 'Who's That SF' game. Fortunately I was able to guess the new ACORN mouse family. Yey!

Nah, it's not a project. People gathered around to check each others picture pieces found everywhere (under the chairs, table, boxes, etc.) to get the 2-part match. It was a long yet exciting game! Sadly, I didn't win this time.

More puzzle and hunting game... "where's my match??"

Well, I gave up looking for my match and just focused looking for SF to buy.  It's harder than my Actuarial exam last May! Can't really decide which one.

And here are the newest items released on that day that made me super crazy.  I tried my best not to spend my wedding budget for them. Hehehe... just a few bucks.

I went home smiling like this all day while playing with my new SF items and freebies!

Sorry, I'm so pre-occupied with Aki, my 1 1/2 old Siberian Husky. It felt like having my own daughter, the only difference is... she howls. Awwooooh! =D

New Sylvanian Families for May 2010!

Just when I thought it would take long before Bankee will have new items on the shelves, it caught me by surprise to see new releases I have only seen in the internet before.

It’s been weeks since my last visit to my favorite toy shop because I have to stay at home and focus on studying for my exam. At long last, my 3-hour actuarial exam last Friday has come to an end (yey!). So to patch me up a bit, my fiancé and I went to Ayala Mall yesterday to grab some groceries and summer flip-flops.

I wasn’t expecting for any new releases for Sylvanian or Transformers in Kidz Station – Glorietta Branch ‘cause Bankee already released a lot of new items last month which Moodswings blogged here. I’ve also promised to myself not to buy any sylvanian unless I have available spaces for them in my room. Not to mention that I haven’t opened the new ones I’ve got during the SM 3-day sale.

Anyways… I guess, I have to break my promise and buy at least one of these new Sylvanian Families out today!

My 'New Toys for Less' Adventure!

It was my first time to Open a Mall! Literally? Yes!

Last March 19, I filed a vacation leave from work just to wake up so early to catch the first 2-hr sale of SM Mall in Makati. The mall opens at exactly 10:00 AM and I was there with my equally enthusiastic mom and aunt at 9:30 AM! To my surprise, there were a lot of people who are already there (much earlier than us!) waiting for the mall to open.

We’re allowed to wander just in the lobby area cause the elevators and all entry points are secured by guards. After we had the Morning Prayer and National Anthem, we were asked to wait for a couple of minutes because it’s not 10:00 yet (grrr!). It was freaky and weird to see their frowning faces due to boredom of waiting for hours, some of them are shouting at the guard to open the steel doors and let us pass! It was also funny when the bell rang as the signal of 10:00 opening. We’re like athletes getting ready for the big run!

SF Experience in SG!

It’s been 3 years --- I still feel the excitement I had when I went to Singapore. Apart from being in a place too far from home for the 1st time, the mere thought of Sylvanian Families makes me giggle in excitement.

I’m a miniature fanatic since I was a child. I remembered picking up some cake decorations in my friend’s birthday in Mc Donald’s and have the complete miniature menu (fries, hamburger and coke!). There were also times that I would disassemble my hair clips and bon-bons (hair trinkets for pony and pig tails) so I could get the small charms to be added to my miniature collection. Haha, I had this cup & saucer set from these bon-bons and my mom got mad at me because she just bought it a couple of days ago. I also got most of my things from junk foods. They have this cheap potato chips before that has free toys inside (like chairs, princess, bikes and all sort of mini stuff). It was so much fun living in a small world!
